Dear Emily,
I am having one of the best holidays of my life.
We are in Sicily is one of the hottest places in Italy, but I love it!
Every day, we go to the beach. The water is a lot warmer than in
England. And the ice cream, are better, too.
At the moment, we are in Palermo. It’ s one of the most interesting
Towns.
In Sicily there are some beautiful churches and markets here.
The oranges in Sicily are bigger than the ones in our supermarkets!
Tomorrow, we’ re going up Etna. It’ s a volcano.
There are a lot of volcanoes in Italy, but Etna is the biggest.
My brother Domenico is a bit frightened!
I’m learning quite Italian.
